Mountain Skills Rock Guides, LLC
Covid – 19 Precautions

We are happy to be re-opening and offering our service to the public in Las Vegas, NV, and Taos, NM. We will be instituting strict Covid-19 protocol until further notice.

Please read the following plan to see how we intend to best protect our staff and guests. Many of these steps are common sense approaches recommended by the CDC or are emerging as common practice in the outfitting and guiding industry as it responds to COVID-19. Be prepared for our trips with face coverings and hand sanitizer. If you’re ready to get back outside, then so we are we!

Mountain Skills Guides will conduct and document a COVID-19 symptoms self-check as part of a normal daily hazard and risk assessment. If guides are feeling sick, showing symptoms, or have had a possible known exposure to COVID-19 they will stay home. If you have any Covid-19 symptoms, someone in your household is sick, have been around someone that has tested positive, and you have not been tested, or any doubts about your health, we ask that you please reschedule your trip for another time.

Guests are no longer required to wear a mask if they are vaccinated. Please have a mask on hand in case you need to enter a building that requires masks.

Guides will maintain a 6 – 8 foot distance between themselves and our guests whenever possible. Non-contact methods of greeting will be implemented.  All reasonable attempts will be made to maintain social distancing.

Transportation – All guests will need to provide their own transportation.

At the end of each day, all equipment will be sanitized with EPA approved cleaning product appropriate for gear.
